When I installed this plugin it works as intended and removes the /tag/ in the url, but I have a issue with my categories widget when this plugin is enabled.
When I click my post category in my widget it returns a page saying nothing found, as soon as i disable plugin the the categories show up again how do i fix this?

I have a search form in my header that I want to stick to the top of the screen when scrolling just like I do with my menu. At this time, I'm able to have it stick where I want and all that. The only problem is that I need it to slide to the left when I toggle the search button (the box is hidden until toggled). Currently, it slides to the bottom nicely and then jumps to the left of the button, where I want it to end up. However, this doesn't look smooth.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
I am certain this is not the place for asking this question but I don't know where else to post so help me or point me somewhere :)
Here's what I need. I need to create a static webpage that has two text boxes: input and output. I want the characters in the input window to be transformed to another set of characters in the output window upon clicking on a button.
So for example if a=b and c=2 and I type in AC in the input box, I want the output box to read B2 after clicking on the button.

I was in the midst of making the transfer from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and made the mistake of thinking that I needed to delete the databases in order to start over with wordpress.org. Now when I try to use my domain: miriamlena.com, it says "error establishing a database connection". I exported everything before hand to import to wordpress.org later, and I think I have a backup, but I'm unsure how to properly retrieve. Even if I can't retrieve it, I would even just appreciate being able to start fresh with a blank slate on wordpress.org using my domain name from wordpress.com (miriamlena.com) and hosted by bluehost.
I appreciate any information you might have to help me!

first of all i love working with this plugin for most site it will do as it is without extra setup.
now for a new client i have a vps server where i also want to run w3 total cache on. but my knowledge with server setup is still to low.
is there a easy'er way to setup the dedicated /virtual server options??
or is there a way that you can help with this???

What you backed up and saved do you have a file saved something.sql or .zip
Or just give me a screen shot of all the files u got backed up..

So I'm not sure that this will actually do any good.
You need to look for a file ending in (.sql)
This file will not be with all your other blog folders.. It would have been downloaded separately..
Did you delete the database from your cPanel if so did you try to restore it from backup on cpanel (if your cPanel is set to daily backups)
Do you still have access to your wordpress.com site?

That's alright! I have access to my wordpress.com site but if I try to click on any of the posts, bluehost gives me a 404 error that they may have been changed or moved.
I deleted from hosting - databases under My SQL Databases. And I looked for any files ending in .sql and I don't see any. I also checked under Backup and Restore and although it shows backup folders for September and today, they are empty. I definitely screwed up, but I honestly don't mind just starting fresh. I have all my blog posts saved separately and there weren't many to begin with.

When it shows on your phone it's probably your phones cache..
Best thing to do to start from the beginning go to cPanel - wordpress delete the installation and and re install
Does your cPanel have Softaculous?
I don't see Softaculous in my cPanel. And you're right about my phone's cache. As for deleting the installation, the only place I can find to do that is under cpanel "settings" and it says "Outdated WordPress Settings for /public_html/miriamlena/:" and then a button that says "delete site". Is that what you mean? Underneath settings it gives me the option for a new wordpress install.

I'm going through the apps on cpanel and it's so odd, there's no app for wordpress. There is only an app for installing wordpress. And another app to view my installs, which includes:

Okay awesome uninstall and then u must install again.. But then wordpress will be default.. As you said u wanted a clean slate so it should work for you..

InfiniteWP does not take around 20 to 40 minutes to do the update. If it is taking so long then it is because your WordPress site is taking so long to respond.
However, it is not recommended to have infinitewp and the managed sites on the same server. This is because it would make synchronous calls and perform updates one at a time. If the sites are on a different server, the calls would be asynchronous. Additionally if the sites and the panel are on the same server, they would encounter timeouts and loopback issues.
It is better not to host the IWP Panel and the WP sites on the same server and additionally try to ensure the IWP Panel is not on a shared host since shared servers have a lot of limitations.

I updated wordpress to 4.4.1 and that has been the only change I have made to the website this year so far.
I have just noticed today that the 'Older Posts' permalink of the website is redirecting back to the homepage instead of going to the website's older posts as it should.
Everything from page 2, page 3, page 4 and so on, is all redirecting to the homepage.
