Problem connecting to Stripe API Endpoint

Receiving complaints from customers saying they get a message at checkout saying:

“There was a problem connecting to the Stripe API endpoint.” making their orders not go through and come up as failed.

I’ve contacted my host and they said it had to do with the cURL because the PHP version I have is set for 7.4 and cURL is enabled. cURL info is 7.76.0.

Then my host said it seems to be an issue with the woocommerce plugin.

so as of right now i need help on fixing this issue as i can not receive any payments from customers.
