MentalDerek on "Tips for a Beginner on how to learn to navigate and use themes"

Here is a perfect example question, I am going to start playing around with this template.

https://wordpress.org/themes/enigma

If you look at the live preview, and scroll down to the section titled "Recent Works" You will see that it is (4) clickable boxes. Lets say I wanted to get rid of those boxes, and replace it with a photo slider, So I would want to rename the section "My clients" and then have a slider going from right to left, that would automatically scroll company logos across in sort of a loop.

You can see an example of what I am talking about if you go to this website, and scroll down on his homepage, you will see his "clients" section, which shows the same type of company logos scrolling across the page.

...His "Clients" section is a perfect example to see what I am trying to achieve in replacing the "Recent Works" section of the Theme I linked at the top of this post.

How would I go about deleting the boxes, and replacing them with a scroller. Is this something that needs to be done in the coding? Or, based off the reply I got above, Just download a plug-in, and I can literally just replace the boxes with the new plug-in? If so, what section of wordpress would that be done in? Customize? Pages? Widgets? (You get the idea)

I get confused on which section to work in, depending on which part of the site I want to edit, and that is sort of what I want to find a tutorial explaining, a walk-through of each of the sections, and what parts of the site they control.

I hope this is a little more direct.

Thanks.
