ok thanks for clearing that up

well to clarify i have 9 or so folders in my root folder all with separate installations of wordpress.

There are some wordpress files also in the root which has the http://www.xboxramble.com domain linked to it (the rest are in a folder named wordpress)

so some of the other sites look like this

http://www.xboxramble.com/PSR (also linked to domain playstationramble.com)
http://www.xboxramble.com/retro
http://www.xboxramble.com/tech (linked to domain thetechramble.com)

there are also some folders linked to the playstationsramble.com domain like
http://www.playstationramble.com/allstarcast http://www.playstationramble.com/hulligans
http://www.playstationramble.com/downforce

I want to put them all into the http://www.xboxramble.com/ramblemedia folder and redirect all the databases etc to keep all the sites working from their new locations and also bring the files from the root folder which were connected to http://www.xboxramble.com back into the wordpress folder, rename it xbox and move that too so that each site will be renamed to

http://www.ramblemedia.com/xbox
http://www.ramblemedia.com/retro
http://www.ramblemedia.com/tech
http://www.ramblemedia.com/allstarcast

That way i can get rid of the extra domain names which are costing me a fortune to keep

is that any clearer?
