Hi, I haven't been using my blog for ages but I just updated it to 4.1 & figured i could use it for posting photos rather than the stuff I have been using it for. So I went looking for a good photography layout.
90% of my posts have photos, in simple ordinary blog posts but I can't get any of them to show up. I just get black squares as if the text posts were empty of photos. Does it matter how the photos are posted? I just posted a new one but the same result (I was thinking if it had anything to do with not updating the WordPress for long).
Here's a screenshot of how the layout looks like to me in Chrome. I've tried various browsers, emptying cache & anonymous/incognito settings incase it's my browser. (Win8 laptop)

Did I misunderstand how the layout works, do you need to do something specific kind of posting/plugin for it to show up?
