I'm a wordpress designer working on a client's website, and I have run into a bit of a snag.
The client is expecting a large influx of visitors to his website very soon, and is looking to add some specific functionality. He wants to offer his readers the option to subscribe to blog/post updates, AND receive newsletter subscription. Obviously, he is looking to do this through only ONE subscription form.
He currently is using MailChimp for his newsletters, but obviously it doesn't allow 'on-post' notifications when he updates his blog.
Just to give an example of what I'm looking for, you would visit his website, and on the sidebar would be a 'subscribe' widget that has a space for an email, and possibly a first/last name. Ideally, the user would put in the information, and they would be signed up to BOTH post notifications, AND a newsletter list.
I have been so far unsuccessful in my search for a solution to this, so I am reaching out to see if anyone has any suggestions for a way to handle the process.
